Pull the starter rope sharply 5 times with your right hand. Slowly press primer bulb 6 times. Push the choke/fast idle lever in to the HALF CHOKE position. Pull choke/fast idle lever out to the full extent (to the FULL CHOKE position). Pull the starter rope sharply with your right hand until the engine starts. SAFETY RULES Always disconnect spark plug wire and place wire where it cannot contact spark plug to prevent accidental starting when setting up, transporting, adjusting or making repairs except carburetor adjustments. S Keep all parts of your body away from the chain when the engine is running. S Keep children, bystanders, and animals a minimum of 30 feet (10 meters) away from the work area.
